Pricey, red wine served at room temp but that is kitchen room temp way to warm. Portions on the small side, burgers are the 1/4# bagged - nothing special.

This place is no good, last time I went in the owners were drunk, never a good sign. Bar food kinda joint, and not even a good bar, basic atmosphere, staff is a joke, last time I ate there I got sick... it's local but I recommend McCools or Mcmennimins right up the street. Better environment, food, drinks, maintenance, staffs a buch of losers, all around not a quality place for such a nice area. Gave it a few shots, but never had a decent experience.

I love this place. Close to home, great attentive staff and a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, not great, but good. The drinks are great. The prices are fair and they play lots of live spots on their tv sceens. They have outdoor seating, shuffle board and a family area in the back if you go during the day with kids. They let people smoke on the back deck and I'm a non smoker, so that is the only part I don't like.

3 stars is A-OK, that seems good for this place - I am not quite a fan yet. The décor is divey but clean. The cliental seems to run to the older set that likes to drink and play video poker - and smoke. The tap selection is limited. I was considering leaving but I asked the bartender what was good. I actually got a psychic flash that was going to say "Rueben" right before it came out of his mouth. Once he told me that the corned beef was done in house he had me. Plus points for the staff and kitchen. the sandwich was very good. I think I had slaw for the side, whatever it was it was decent. If I could just find out for sure if that corned beef on the sandwich was the same stuff in the hash on the weekends I would be back for breakfast. Kids are welcome at breakfast on the patio. If you are in the area stop in and give it a try.

Very disappointed with my self that I've driven by here so many times and didn't stop! It's a great little local bar with surprising touches that go above and beyond. Example: got a app, corndogs, they came with chips. I figured some packaged chips would be smacked on the side. Nope. Someone took the time to slice real potatoes and make homemade chips that were served hot along with a housemade dip for the corndogs! The wings were awesome. And the bar area was small enough the server could see everything easily and was able to keep everyone's glasses in the bar full. Needless to say I'm beyond impressed, disappointed I didn't come sooner and thoroughly excited my friend and I just found out "cheers" to come to each week!

Up until recently, we have never stopped in this place...why? It just looked like a dumpy place and never thought much about it. I am glad we finally stopped in! The bar is comfortable and they have great service. The menu is big and the food is good. It is worth stopping in for a bite!

This place is the worst. My husband and I tried it about a year ago and we both ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were hungry jack refrigerator type biscuits, which btw get really slimy under gravy. Decided to give it another chance for breakfast today. I had the bacon, mushroom, cheddar omelet with hash browns and an english muffin. They used canned mushrooms! That is not ok!!! The hash browns were undercooked and just white in color and unseasoned... I thought that at least the english muffin would be good... but I was wrong. It was so saturated in.... "butter" like liquid I could have wrung it out. 12 hours later and my stomach is still turning. We will never be back. ever.

Even though I have lived near Gloria'z for years I had never tried it. We were heading to newberg with a large group to go wine tasting and decided to stop in for breakfast. We were all very pleased! The staff was quick and very nice, the portions were huge and for a very reasonable price. We have since been back for breakfast and tried taco night. All 3 times were pleasant and we will be going back again! Definitely recommend them for breakfast, the breakfast quesadilla is amazing!

I love this place! The alcohol is good, the ambience is good, our server was wonderful! The food is TO DIE FOR and it's fairly cheap! On Thursdays they have happy hour ALL DAY and it's also taco night! I love this place and I will definitely go back. My friends and I love to party here

Driven by this place many times, finally stopped in on game night. The bartender really knows what he's doing and enjoys his job too. Ordered the fish and chips, turns out it's halibut and not cod so I will definitely do that again. Both servers were very pleasant and I don't remember having to wait for anything or having to ask for anything either. (on a sat night thats unheard of) Thank you for that. I almost forgot! My husband ordered the Rueben and recommends it.

I've drove past this place multiple times and finally stopped in for some drinks on one of their taco Tuesdays. I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy and cute this bar is. I decided to give their tacos a try. I really liked how plain they are. I don't know how to explain it other than they reminded me of tacos you would eat at someone's house. My girlfriend had the dinner salad and had no complaints. I enjoyed a PBR and she enjoyed a spicy bloody mary. We definitely want to go back but hopefully this time there won't be a massive amount of smoke coming out of the kitchen.

The food choices are limited to standard bar food and it is mediocre at best. Not a lot of parking available if other nearby businesses are open. If you eat outside, you will likely have to put up with cigarette smoke.

They have a lot of options and are good for takeout, but it's basically Costco/microwave type food. Nice servers - average food.

Really great Reubens!!! The corned beef is oh so tender. Great place to watch s game. Plenty of TVs. Still haven't tried breakfast here, but we here it's good.

Don't expect chain restaurant food and service, Gloria is simply a modest neighborhood pub. Support for local business! Happy hour is decent with $3.5 (? can't remember the exact price) beers on tap, FRIED MAC 'N CHEESE, onion rings, etc. Taco Tues & Thurs are the days they have $1 beef taco (other tacos start at $1.5) served with chips and salsa. It's a snack portion but is perfect with a drink. Everything is always made fresh as far as I can tell.

Had the Spaghetti Special this last Monday. The bar seems to cater to a bit of an older crowd and isn't too bad. The spaghetti was pretty decent, although I am not a fan of mushrooms and there was quite the abundance. Other than that, I can say they are pretty decent.

Great place out in Happy Valley to grab a burger and a beer for lunch! I'm sure it's a good place to catch a game if your HV local. Love the service, but you wouldn't catch me driving down from Portland to eat/drink there. I'm not big into sports oriented bars and pubs, but this place is nice and cozy. Has a great neighborhood vibe to it. It's in a cool little shopping center of repurposed old buildings, which is pretty much non-existent in Happy Valley. Big plus for that.

I visited Gloriaz last Friday night with my wife. We had never been there before and decided to give it a try. Neither of us were impressed. My wife ordered a lemon drop martini and it was horrible. She had to send it back and ordered her a different drink. She ordered a Rice Krispy Treat (marshmallow vodka and Red Bull). It was horrible too, but I don't feel it was any fault from the bar, it's just a nasty drink. When the server came by to take our food order I ordered the "Poor Man's Reuben" which is a hot dog with sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing. The server asked if i wanted the Reuben and I reiterated the "Poor Man's Reuben". She then told me that was the Reuben. Seeing as I had not fully read all the menu options offered by Gloriaz, I accepted what she said. When the meal came it was a normal Reuben sandwich. I sent it back and explained the menu said it was something completely different. Overall, I feel the food was your average bar food (not bad, but not great), but the server should pay attention to what it is the customer is ordering and there is no excuse for serving a lemon drop that taste more like straight vodka and less like lemon. The bill was right even with the substitutions due to the lousy drinks and wrong meal

The food is terrible and the drinks are poured with a very light hand. I met the owner and she was completely drunk. She kept yelling at people for no apparent reason

Saturday night visit: Server was nice and attentive, food was good but not special, prices were not too high for what you got. Very clean. Will go back and try out the patio next summer.

I have wanted to try Gloia'z for a long time so I finally stopped for Taco Tuesday. I was not impressed and will not go back. I thought the prices for Happy Hour were quite high plus I was charged extra for sour cream and for lemon. Better food and prices elsewhere.

Typical pub bar but the service was adequate at best. The menu is decent but for the price you pay you get average food. The place is pretty big,if you look at it from the outside it looks small but it really isn't. They have shuffle board and TVs. The only down side to the place is that it appears that the owner is a Raiders fan...booo!

terrible service!!! our waitress was more concerned about hanging with the employees at the bar(on day off) then our service!! thought this place was good after my first visit but several other visits after that and it feels like a bunch of losers work here and hang out here when they are off...

We LOVE Gloria'z. Dean & Gloria are the nicest people. Great drinks, great food, great staff. We've never had a bad meal, and we are regulars almost weekly. The outside deck is wonderful for summer evenings. We've only ever sat in the bar or out on the deck, so we are not familiar with the family area dining room. I suggest you try: Bacon Cheeseburger, Fish n Chips, Prawns, potato skins, Bloody Mary bar (make your own as spicy as you want!). The breakfasts are wonderful as well :) They have multiple TVs in the bar, so watching sports during big events is pretty much always a given.

Tryin it out...not a bad spot. Food is average for a bar/restaurant in your neighborhood. Was less than impressed with the fish/chips portion size vs price.

stopped by here because the restaurant we wanted to go to was packed! I like they have family dining separate from he bar, but the family dining is pretty small. Service was pretty slow, but they were super friendly and the food was Really Really Good!! Fried chicken livers were awesome and we got lucky to hit there All day happy hour on Thursday so chicken wings were 3 bucks! Not too loud, nice place to hang out and have dinner, Even if you are not drinking.. lots of decent sized TVs for watching sports games if your into that kinda thing. I will definitely be back soon! But maybe hire some extra wait staff, so we don't have to wait as long for service.. :)

We met some friends here for drinks and some food tonight. The bar area wasn't busy other than a few regulars watching NFL games. We had an ok experience, but when our waitress brought our bill we were overcharged for 1 drink. I tried to bring the error to her attention, but she wanted to argue about it & even said "I swear to you that you drank that drink"! How unprofessional! I absolutely know how many drinks we had. Instead of arguing, we paid our bill and left. We will NOT ever be returning to this establishment! Terrible customer service!

Very Clean Neighborhood Pub. After working in food service for many years growing up, the cleanliness of the location I am eating at means a lot to me.

We have been huge supporters but once again thje food and service quality have plummeted. We ordered a cobb salad and chicken strips - pad $25 for meager portions, soggy fries, and lame response when we commented. Shame on you dean and gloria.

Went here for the tuesday taco night. Taco shells were stale. Waitress brought the wrong beer and didn't come back for a long time, so my husband ended up just drinking the wrong one anyway. We were here with some family so we kept chatting past when the check came. She came back several times within a few minutes of each other mumbling something. We put our money out and she was back with change in a flash. We kept chatting(at a restaurant GO FIGURE) with the change/tips still set out, she kept hoovering. She then came back and took all the change/tips from the table. I was mid drink of water and she had her hand out for my glass??? Wtf? Are we not allowed to sit and talk a little bit after the meal? If her shift was over, why not pass us off to another waitress instead of pushing us out the door? I thought it was pretty rude, being someone that's also worked in food service.

I went here for lunch and had a prime rib sandwich along with a Captain and Coke. The food was good and inexpensive and is a nice local option for dining. The atmosphere is cozy and it is always nice to see a building that is still in use after more than 100 years, especially out in the Clackamas area. The service was good and I plan to visit again.

Nice neighborhood spot. We visited the bar area - the restaurant was occupied with a private function. Good homemade pub food - I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was very good and tasted like something I would make at home. Full chicken breast, not a pounded out wafer like you get in some other places. Crinkle fries on the side were hot and crisp. My husband had wings which he said were just OK, and potato skins which were loaded with bacon so he was happy! Drinks were good with decent pours. Very friendly staff - service was great. We will return.

Horrible food. This place changed owners and became renamed and horribly decorated. The menu used to feature great food, and now it's just really bad bar food. ARGH.

My newest find. Great little place to go and relax. Best friendly wait staff I have seen in awhile. Not a fan of the Taco Tuesday/Thursday night. Our hard shell tacos where stale. I do though like there American style Menu. I will be back in fact I have a few times.

0 stars on food. Burger was dry and bun was burnt. Husband had fish and chips. Halibut was extremely dry. Had to chase each bite with water to force it down. Cook said the fish was frozen from California and he had cut it today. Service was good but very slow. Will not go back.

Stopped in for a beer. Cozy and the locals are nice. The food was very good and the staff friendly. Nice little place stop in there if your on the east side of sunnyside.
